Ann Furlong is a fully qualified and Licensed acupuncturist, certified Herbalist, Reflexologist, a reiki  master teacher and also a certified Tuina massage therapist.

Ann offers a wealth of experience in Healthcare and holistic wellness with more than 30 years devotion to the fields of Psychiatry, Special Needs and general practise.

Ann particular interest is in Pain Management and Women’s Health.
Ann trained as an acupuncturist with the Acupuncture Foundation at the institute of Chinese medicine in Milltown Dublin, Ireland. After training under the guidance of Professor Jin Huide, Dr Meng Fanyi and Dr Wu Jidong, she furthered her studies by completing a Post Grad Clinical Placement under the direction of Dr Ouyang, A TCM Specialist in the Jian De Provincial Governmental hospital of Nanjing China

Ann is also a qualified TCM Herbalist having completed 3 years training with the acupuncture foundation in Milltown Dublin. In 2016 having studied under the direction of Dr Trevor Wing ,  clinical researcher and lecturer in female health in London, Ann received her diploma in TCM clinical Gynacology and obstetrics.

Ann is also a trained Reflexologist holding a higher diploma in Refloxology with the European Institute of classical Reflexology where she specialised in foot analysis, precision Reflexology and touchpoint therapy.

Ann also holds a Reiki master qualification (Tera Mai), under the linage of Usui Shiki Ryono.

Ann continues her studies every year and at present is studying pain management with Si Juan, Dr Tans Balancing method, an effective and quick method of treating pain.

Ann is registered with the Acupuncture Council of Ireland (TCMCI) and adheres to a strict code of Ethics ensuring confidentiality at all times sterile disposable needles are used and strict standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
